For someone who had been raised by her grandmother, it was only fitting that Nelie Lucero-Aguirre gave in to her inspiration to provide geriatric care. Fueled by her natural compassion and care for those who need it, Nelie Aguirre founded the American Empire Home Health Services in 1983. Located at West Covina in Southern California, Nelie has taken the helm and has been the driving force behind the business, making it her personal mission to deliver the best care possible wherever it is needed.
Nelie is proud to mention that she has opened her doors to those who would otherwise be sent other facilities and addressed issues of patients with callenges like: those who have open wounds ( Nelie is a certified RN for Wound Care) thos who are early discharge patients, making sure care is personal in approach and not corporate.
With the support of her team and CEO, her prime goal; is to ensure each patient feels the love of their caregiver and is very much at home.
